Well...howdy!

I have to make an apology.
No updates for the next two weeks, loves.
I'm doing a creative writing workshop at Augustana and though we have kick-butt laptops, everything of mine is of course, on my computer at home so nothing. I'll still be checking comments and such but no more updates for awhile.

I am one who is not normally very into quotes, but I came across one today that I found very touching.

"The woman came from the rib of the man. Not from his feet to be walked over. Not from his head to be superior. But from his side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected. And next to the heart to be loved." 

So I continually find myself blog surfing in my free time. I love coming across quaint little blogs with interesting stories and amazing photography. It's great :)

Movies I'm recommending: Yes Man and New In Town.
New In Town is very adorable, while yes a tad bit sappy and predictable, a really good stormy night movie.
Yes Man is just hilarious.

One more thing I'd like to talk about. The carnival is was in town this weekend and I went with my best friend Maddie. As we were walking around, we both came to the same sad conclusion. Carnivals have simply lost their magic over the years. I remember when I was younger, carnivals were like, the greatest thing to come to town! Fun rides, awesome prizes, funnel cakes. Now all we notice is how truly miserable the people working them are and how rickety and rusty the rides have become. Everything is overpriced and the prizes are cheap.
It's very sad.

I dyed my hair blue.
Hahaha it's true though.
Like the entire underneath...ah, I love it!
My dad doesn't though... but I think he's accepting it.
It's gonna be that way the next 3 months!
I'm really bummed I'll have to dye it back for school!
Maybe I'll post a picture of it....
